Kayaking & Paddleboarding

Cwmtydu beach is the perfect launch point for kayaking adventures along the Heritage Coast. The sheltered cove provides calm waters for beginners, while more experienced paddlers can explore hidden caves, secluded beaches, and dramatic cliff formations.

Kayak and paddleboard hire is available in New Quay and Llangrannog. Guided tours can be arranged for those wanting expert local knowledge.

Safety First

Sea cliff climbing requires experience and proper equipment. We recommend booking with a qualified local guide, especially if you’re new to the area or to climbing. Coasteering trips are available from operators in New Quay and Cardigan.

Sea Fishing

The waters around Cwmtydu offer excellent fishing opportunities, whether you prefer casting from the rocks, beach fishing, or heading out on a boat. The Cardigan Bay coastline is known for its diverse marine life and quality catches.
